Northland Community and Technical College is seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technology Adjunct Instructor to support the preparation of the next generation of automotive technicians. This position will primarily teach first-year automotive courses in a hands-on, student-centered learning environment that emphasizes technical skill development, safety, and industry readiness.

Salary Range:
The current salary range is up to $71,893. Part-time faculty pay is determined by the number of assignment credits. Please note: Initial salary placement is determined on the basis of education and experience in accordance with the faculty contract.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement
Post-secondary diploma or equivalent certificate in Automotive Service Technology or a closely related field
Occupational Experience Requirement
Four (4) full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in automotive service technology
Professional Requirement
Current ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification in the areas assigned for instruction
Preferred Qualification
Prior teaching or training experience in a postsecondary or industry setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with emerging automotive technologies (hybrid, electric vehicles, diagnostics systems)
Commitment to student-centered teaching and learning
